John McHugh Obituary
Manama Bahrain - John Daniel McHugh 85, of Manama Bahrain, passed away peacefully November 29th. John was born in Long Island NewYork, the son of the late Daniel and Helen McHugh.
He grew up in Ridgewood and attended St Peter's Prep and College inJersey City, NJ. He served 5 years in the US Navy as a Navy Pilot. After completing his service he worked as a pilot for Eastern Airlines and Gulf Air. John is survived by his siblings, Helen White of Charlotte NC, Peter Daniel of Ridgewood, Daniel of Tampa,Florida, James of Wayne,New Jersey and several nieces and nephews. A private funeral was held at the Christian Cemetery in Salmabad, Bahrain.

Heartbroken to know about his passing. John was a dear friend and a mentor. When I was in Bahrain during my Gulf Air days, I considered him as of one of the few people who truly cared. I learned from him a lot and listened to his advice. He took me to the airport when I left Bahrain to U.S. for good. John, till we meet again. You will always be in my prayers. Rest in peace my dear friend.

During the EAL strike 1998 John was our leaded, he kept us (8 girls) advised. We all got to be good friends. We flew many flights together. Miss you John, God bless.
