Aloysius Sajdyk Obituary
Aloysius Sajdyk, age 89 of East Chicago, IN passed away July 14, 2016. He is survived by his children: James (Kathleen) Sajdyk, Richard Sajdyk and Christel (Dale) Snow; grandchildren: James (Lisa) Sajdyk, Gregory Sajdyk, Lisa Sajdyk, Bradley (Rebecca) Snow and Sean Snow; eight great grandchildren, sisters: Helena, Lillian, and Anna Sajdyk. Proceeded in death by his brother, Leonard and sisters: Victoria, Rose, Dolores, and Mary Kisel. Funeral Services will be held Friday, July 22, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at The Lesniak Funeral Home, 4918 Magoun Ave., East Chicago, IN with Msgr John J. Siekierski officiating. Burial of Cremains at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery will be private. Friends may call at the Funeral Home for visitation of Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Mr. Sajdyk was a lifelong resident of East Chicago, a graduate of Roosevelt High School, attended Purdue University Calumet. He was a member of Carpenters Local 599, worked for Vic Szurgot Construction Co. in East Chicago, IN. He was a veteran of WWII U.S Army and member of American Legion Allied Post 369. Thank you to the staff at Rittenhouse Senior Living in Portage and Harbor Lights Hospice.
