William Cooper Obituary

William Neal Cooper Highland William Neal Cooper, 83 of Highland, passed away on Monday, November 8, 2004. He is survived by his wife, Eudene (nee Pendley) of 58 years; two children, Gwen (Bob) Campbell of Highland and Charlie (Kim) Cooper of Chicago, IL; six grandchildren; Eva (Jeremy) Weber of Greenwood, MO, Ryan (fiance Nicole) Campbell of Schererville, Melissa Campbell and Tom Campbell, both of Highland; Andy Cooper of Chicago, IL and Josh Cooper of Goshen, IN; three great-grandchildren: Chloe Vargas of Chicago, Colin Campbell of Highland and Cooper Neal Weber of Greenwood, MO; four brothers: Warren Cooper, Johnny Cooper, Charlie (Jan) Cooper and Wayne (Bobbie) Cooper, all of McKenzie, TN; and several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by two brothers, Russell and Wade Cooper. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, November 12, 2004 at 10:00 a.m. DIRECTLY at the First Church of the Nazarene, 9330 Kennedy Ave., Highland, IN, with Rev. Robert Hasselbring officiating. Burial, Elmwood Cemetery, Hammond, IN. Friends are invited to meet with the family on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the Kuiper Funeral Home, 9039 Kleinman Road (two blocks south of Ridge Road), Highland, Indiana. Mr. Cooper attended the First Church of the Nazarene of Highland. He was the owner/operator of Bill's Movers in Highland from 1958-1974. A Veteran of the U.S. Army during WWII achieving three Bronze Stars. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First Church of the Nazarene in Highland.
