JACOB GILMAN, 35
Ocala, FL - Jacob Gilman Meffert, 35, passed away on August 12, 2012. He was born August 12, 1977 in Ocala, FL.
Jacob was a graduate of Forest High School. As an avid Gator fan, he enjoyed attending many UF sporting events. Known to his close friends as "Jake", he loved 80's music, the Atlanta Braves, bowling, and was a wrestling fan.
Jacob is preceded in death by his father, John "Mike" Meffert. He is survived by his mother, Gilmary "Pickle" Meffert of Ocala, FL.; brothers John Meffert (Jill) of Ocala, FL, Todd Young (Shannon) of Lexington, KY; sisters Jordan Meffert of Ocala, FL, Jennifer Meffert of Washington, DC; Uncle Phil Hutson of Hartford City, IN; Aunt Elizabeth Stoney of Ocala, FL; nieces, nephews, other family, and many friends.
A celebration of Jacob's life will be held at Hiers-Baxley Funeral Home on Silver Springs Blvd. on August 17th, 2012 at 2 p.m., and all are welcome to attend.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the charity of your choice.
