Troy Abner Obituary
Orange Springs - Troy Gerald Abner, 59, passed away October 5, 2021. He was born May 4, 1962 in Ocala, FL, to John William Abner, Sr. and Emily Juanita Varnom. He worked many years with the City of McIntosh and took pride in his work.
Troy was a vibrant, and loving man. He loved his family and our Country. His passion was his involvement with the Civil War reenactments. He never met a stranger. His generous heart was there for everyone he knew.
He is survived by his mother, Emily "Connie" Hudson; sons, Johnny Mark Abner, Matthew Abner, of Sarasota, FL; daughter, Jaedene Abner, of Sarasota; brothers, John William Abner, Jr., David Goens; sisters, Darlene Abner and Susan Abner Wilkeson; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends all whom will miss him dearly.
Memorial service will be 1:00 pm, Saturday, October 9, 2021 at the Church at Triple Cross Ranch, 20740 NW 100th Avenue Rd, Micanopy, FL 32667.

Troy always had a smile on his face and a hug for me every time I saw him. I never heard him sing but I have been told he had a great voice and could sing anything. He will be missed.
