Please know our loving thoughts embrace you. I wish I knew what to say to make things better but sometimes words just aren't enough.
May it bring you solace to know how many lives have been deeply touched by Chris.
I first met Chris while playing on his W.A.B.L. baseball team in 5th grade. Chris threw hard as a pitcher and could be counted on to get on base as a batter. I never heard him speak disparagingly about anyone and often I had witnessed him courageously sticking up for someone that others treated poorly. He seemed to always have a smile that would burst out and lift everyone’s spirits. Chris had a quiet confidence and compassionate soul that should be an example for all of us. Until we meet again, Rest in peace Chris.

Even though you moved off Cassell Avenue when we were just kids, I still think about you all every time I hear one of your dealership ads on the radio.
My mom had heard about Chris' passing before it hit the newspapers last week and called to let me know- I had JUST thought about the Caudills that morning when I'd heard an ad on the way to Barberton.
My family and I are so sad about this- it looks like Chris "grew up" to be a great guy (and a great looking guy!) Please know that I'll continue to think of you periodically as I listen to WNIR! You're out of sight, but have never been out of mind. Take care.

I only knew Chris for about 20 yrs, but in the short period that we were friends it seems I have a lifetime of stories, good times and good thoughts to remember him by. I had the good fortune of meeting "Caudill" while he was attending Hilbert College near Buffalo NY. Chris is the only person I've ever known who was completely genuine. He never had an agenda or an angle. He was selfless, always concerned with everyone else's wellbeing rather than his own. Whenever we visited he went out of his way to make sure everyone was having a good time regardless of how much he was put out. It was always an amazing time. I know visiting Cleveland will never be the same, but if I ever summon enough courage to visit, whether it's a Browns game an Indians game or just a visit, it will be with a heavy heart because my friend Caudill will not be there with me. I love Chris like a brother and I always will. I pray Our Lord had a good reason to take him from us, but right now I can't imagine of one good enough.
My most sincere condolences go out to Chris' family. I am so very sorry for your enormous loss.
Caudill, I Love You and I will miss you forever. There will never be another like you. You are one of a kind. RIP
