David D'Angelo Obituary

David D. D'Angelo

Lagrangeville - David D D'Angelo, age 62, of Lagrangeville, died Thursday, December 12, 2013 at home in Lagrangeville. Dave was born September 19, 1951 in Poughkeepsie, NY. He is the son of Andrew and the late Dolores (Howe) D'Angelo. On September 29, 1973 at Holy Trinity Church David married Diana D. Bartholomew, she predeceased him on July 22, 1984.

Dave was employed by Local 669 as a Steam Fitter. He was a 1969 graduate of Arlington High School and he attended Dutchess Community College.

Dave was a lifelong area resident, a member of St. Kateri Church, Millbrook K of C, Pirate Canoe Club, 35 year member of the Steam Fitters and Sprinklers Local 669, Wednesday Night Beekman Golf League, Harlem Valley Golf Course, Arlington Grill Hall of Fame and the Arlington Grill Golf League. Dave was a avid Giants and Mets fan, he loved to golf, ride his motor cycle and enjoyed the river.

He is survived by his daughter: Jessica D'Angelo and her boy friend Sean Norris of Lagrangeville, NY; his father Andrew D'Angelo of Vero Beach Florida; brother and sister in-law, Drew and Mary D'Angelo of Hyde Park, NY; sister and brother in-law, Susan and David Miester of Boca Raton, Florida; brother, Danny D'Angelo of Vero Beach , FL; Companion, Debbie Melious of Verbank, NY; grandson Jacob Norris of Lagrangeville; several nieces, nephews cousins and his beloved dog Azul.

Calling hours will be Tuesday, December 17, 2013 from 3pm to 8pm at Timothy P. Doyle Funeral Home Inc., 371 Hooker Ave., Poughkeepsie, NY.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:00 am on Wednesday, December 18, 2013 at St. Kateri Church, Route 82, Lagrangeville, NY with officiating. Burial will be in Freedom Plains Cemetery, Lagrangeville.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hudson Valley Hospice 374 Violet Ave. Poughkeepsie, New York 12601.
