William Storms Obituary
Palm Bay, FL - William J. Storms, age 54, passed away at his home in Palm Bay, Florida on 9/24/2016. He had his loving family with him and he was blessed to have Hospice of St. Francis at his side.
He was born on 10/03/1961 in Poughkeepsie, NY. He is the son of William J. Storms III and Josephine Storms also of Palm Bay, Florida.
He attended Arlington High School and graduated in 1980. He enlisted in the Army and served 3 years during peace time in Germany. He received many honors during his time in the Army.
Army Services Ribbons, Overseas Service Ribbons, Good Conduct Medal, Sharp Shooter Badge M-16 Rifle, Expert Badge hand Grenade.
He worked at Arnoff Moving and storage, then for the City of Poughkeepsie DPW, and Parks and Recreation.
He moved to Florida in 2005 after he became disabled.
He is survived by his parents Williams J. Storms III, and Josephine M. Storms previously from Pleasant Valley NY; two brothers Louis A. Storms, and Robert F. Storms both of Pleasant Valley NY; two sisters Mary Ann (Holly) Bush her husband Matthew of Watertown NY, and Monte M. Coris, and her husband Dean of Beacon NY. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. He is survived by a step son, and 3 grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his sister Jodi Peteson who passed away in 2013.
Donations may be made to 3 organizations who meant the world to Billy.
The Veterans Administration, Leukemia Lymphoma Society, and Hospice of St. Francis of Palm Bay Florida.

It is times like these when we lose great people like Billy that we reflect on all the good times and fun that we have had with each other. Billy was not only my cousin but my friend growing up until life happens and we go our separate ways and are to busy to reach out to each other. I was totally shocked to find out about his passing. To his Mom Aunt Jo Jo and uncle Sonny and family I want to express my deepest condolences. He will be missed by all!

Louie, Robby and all the Storms Family, Words cannot describe how sad I feel after hearing the news of Billy's passing. He was a great friend and genuinely good person. We had some great times working together along with Paul Morano at IBM in the early 80's. We all carpooled together and lots of times, went out to Mackey's Pub or somewhere to have a few beers and shoot pool. They called us the 3 Amigos but more like the 3 Stooges. He was a lot of fun and I'll always remember his big smile and hearty laugh. My sincere condolences. I'll never forget you my good buddy "Billy the Kid" God bless you Brother.....

Louie, Rob and all of the Storms Family, Words cannot describe how sad I am to hear of Billy's passing. He was a great friend and we had so much fun when we worked together along with Paul Morano at a 6 month stint with IBM. We carpooled and a lot of times and went to Mackey's Pub or somewhere afterwards. They called us the 3 Amigos (more like the 3 Stooges). We had so much fun. He was a funny guy and I will never forget his smile and laugh. A genuinely good person. Haven't seen him since he moved to Fla. and just found out recently how really sick he was.
