You've been on my mind Mike. I know your birthday is coming up soon. One of my oldest memoires is going to your birthday party in first or second grade. You had given me an invitation; it was the first party I remember ever being invited to. I was very excited to go. I brought you a G.I. Joe as a present, I wanted to keep it for myselfmy mom wouldn't let me. I remember riding in the back of my mom's station wagon to your house. It seemed so far (it was like a 3-minute drive away). I remember there were a bunch of kids therewe played in the back of your house, down the alley and out front. I forget what we played exactly it was just a lot of fun, during that early spring day. The weather was beautiful.
I remember a later birthday (12 or 13) when you got the psycho skateboard. I was always so jealous of how well you could skate. I could never even learn to ollie! It was hard being goofy footed. I remember playing skate or die on the Gameboy, such as damn hard game. I remember our youth often and I think of you. Missing you man

Mike was an incredibly funny guy, and a great friend. We hung out quite a lot as kids, and I still feel the sting of Mike's passing more than 10 years on. Still thinking of you, Mike.

Mike was a close childhood friend to my brother -many memories of us growing up in the 80s with him and Bri skate boarding and playing video games. Mrs V. and family -there are no words of condolence that can express how deeply sad I am for your loss, even years after his passing. RIP Mike.

Mike was my best friend growing up....from first till eighth grade when we parted ways and went to high school.
I learned of his passing many years after...I opened this site back up so people like me (his old friends etc) could post memories and things about Mike. I loved the guy and it hurts to think of him as gone so early in his life.

I am extremely saddened about the news I heard of Michael's death. He was a very good friend of m son, Matthew, especially when they were very young. I am truly sorry, but I know he is now with his mother, Debbie, who pre-deceased him. Debbie loved Michael with her whole being and did everything that a Mother could do for a "beloved son"! They are rejoicing together (finally) in heaven where God wanted Michael "HOME" at last! Mike, sleep well as you did when you visited my home and slept in the "bunk beds with your friend, Matthew Horner. God LOVE YOU BOTH!

I am sorry for your loss. I didn't know him well, but the short time I spent working with him, he seemed like a nice person.
