He was predeceased by his wife, Judith A. (Matus) Fischetti, in 2014. They married May 21, 1966, and are now celebrating 50 years together. He was born August 4, 1934, in Allentown, Pa. He was the son of the late Anthony (Rudy) Fischetti and Bessie L. (Andreas) Fischetti.
Mr. Fischetti was a graduate of Reading High School.
He was the owner and operator of two successful
businesses, Contractor Services and Action Home
Development and Investment Corporation, operating his business from 1962 through 2005, retiring to spend time with his family. During this time, he also purchased and managed multiple real estate properties.
Throughout his adult life, he was passionate and
committed to coaching youth baseball. He spent over 20 years coaching little league baseball for Cornwall Terrace, the Spring Township travel team, and the West Lawn Owls Legion Team. He loved the game and truly enjoyed making a difference in the lives of young people.
In addition, he enjoyed many different sports and
activities including, St. Louis Cardinals, Reading
Fairgrounds, NASCAR, bowling, rolling skating, dancing and playing cards with friends.
He also loved hockey. For over 30 years, his family had season tickets for the Hershey Bears, where he and Mom were active members in the Booster Club, and where they formed many life-long friendships.
He was a parishioner of the Roman Catholic Church, and member of the Travelers Protection Association (TPA), Chandler Masons, and American Legion.
He was predeceased by his sister, Dorothy M., wife of
Michael Garvey, and his beloved dog, Patches.
He is survived by his children: Terry A. Fischetti,
husband of Cindy, of Robesonia; Deborah A. Steslow, wife of Michael G., of Bernville; Michael P. Fischetti, husband of Michele A., of Wyomissing; Andrea T. (Toni) Benninghoff, wife of Richard J., Coatesville; and Joseph A. Fischetti, Wyomissing; 7 loving grandchildren: Tobias Knechtle, Matthew Steslow, Alex Steslow, Nicholas Fischetti, Natalie Fischetti, Isabelle Benninghoff and Addison Benninghoff; 4 great-grandchildren: Channing Knechtle, Bentley Knechtle, Lance Steslow and Jade Steslow.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Ignatius Loyola RCC, 2810 St. Albans Dr., Sinking Spring, on
Thursday, May 26, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. The family will receive friends and relatives on Wednesday, May 25, 2016, at Bean Funeral Home, 3825 Penn Ave., Sinking Spring, from 6-8:00 p.m. and at church on Thursday, from 10-10:45 a.m. The interment will follow the service at Pleasant View Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his name to the Animal Rescue League, 58 Kennel Rd., Birdsboro, PA 19508, or P.O. Box 69, Mohnton, PA 19540.

So sorry to hear of the passing of your father. I have so many great memories of him on that baseball field in Cornwall Terrace. We won so many games, ran so many laps and learned so many lessons, thanks to Mr. Fischetti. May he rest in peace.

My heart goes out to all of the family. I know how hard it is to have both parents leave you. Judy just missed him so much & wanted to dance with him on their anniversary. They were so close. Pop, I can't believe you're gone. Thank you for being a great father, a buddy and influential figure. You accomplished so much in your lifetime. You had such a positive impact on so many lives and made so many people better by helping them along the way. You were a saavy business man, a sharp dresser and a class act. I will miss you so much...especially talking baseball and our Jack and cokes...and just talking about life in general...
