Jeffrey Hodges Obituary

Jeffrey Wayne Hodges, of Roanoke, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, October 4, 2008, at the age of 47. Jeff was a loving father, son and friend to many. He had a great love for hunting, fishing and also music. He was preceded in death by his father, James Butler Hodges, and his son, Jeffrey Wayne Hodges Jr. He is survived by his daughter, Megan Hodges; mother, Betty Hodges; brother, David Hodges; sister, Debra Davis; several additional extended family and friends. The family will receive friends at Oakey's South Chapel from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday October 7, 2008. Services will be at Oakey's South Chapel at 10 a.m. Wednesday, October 8, 2008. Pastor Terry Shaw will officiate. Interment will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to help with funeral expenses. Arrangements by Oakey's South Chapel, 540-989-3131.
