Sheila G. McDaniel passed away on Saturday, October 9, 2021, surrounded by those she loved. She was preceded in death by her mother, Violet; father, Jimmy; great-niece, Ashley; sister, Tammy; brother, Duck; mother-in-law, Isabelle; nephew, Johnny Lee; cousin, Cliff ; and sister-in-law, Penny.
She leaves behind a devoted husband, Randall which she often called "dirty ol' son of a b." Paying attention to the small details resulted in 42 memorable and wonderful years of marriage. She had many jobs through time, but the most important was being Mom and MawMaw. Her children, Roger "RogLee" and Heather "HayHay", Randy and Raphel, and Shana will cherish every moment spent with her. However, the grandbabies completed her world. Spoiling A1C Randall "Trey Trey," Abby, Bay Bay, Brad Man, Makaila Ashley and Zack with great-grandson, Hudson, Mariah, PFC Blade and Tepanga was what she LOVED to do as much as possible.
Jamie (brother) and Tammy, Johnny (brother-in-law), Missy (sister-in-law), Rosie (sister-in-law), Shirley (sister), Sissy (sister-in-law), Sue (sister) and Bob, Tommy (brother), best friend David and MANY nieces and nephews will remember how she affected their lives and miss her feisty attitude.
The door was always open, stove was always on, coffee was always in the pot and come the holiday season, her house was lit up like Fort Knox. She always had ears to listen and shoulders to lean on. She enjoyed camping but loved spending time with family and having a house full of people.
The family is hosting a Celebration of Life at her home on Sunday, October 17, 2021 from 12 p.m. until 6 p.m. Feel free to bring stories and pictures to share while we celebrate Sheila's life.
