Aaron Stephen Pappas, age 43, of Sacramento California died Sunday, July 23, 2017 at 4:29 pm at UC Davis Hospital in Sacramento surrounded by his family and friends. Aaron was born on December 13, 1973 in Encino, California to Rodger George and Evelyn Rae (Hammersmith) Pappas, the youngest of 3 children. He is survived by, the love of his life, Sarah Estabrook, his mother Evelyn Rae (Hammersmith) Pappas, his sister Brenda Berry, his brothers Jeffrey and Alexander Pappas, as well as many other relatives and countless friends. A longtime resident of the Fair Oaks and Sacramento area, Aaron was a well respected teacher of yoga, including acro yoga, an awesome Thai masseuse, an Alcoholics Anonymous evangelist, an artist, a musician, a hiking guide, a magician, a servant, and a student of life. Aaron's mission was to help as many people as possible, regardless of their life's circumstances. By virtually all accounts, he was extraordinarily successful. Part healer, part yogi, part student, and full of light; beloved son, brother, uncle, nephew, cousin, and true friend to many. Aaron will be profoundly missed. Aaron is a true example of the transformative power of fully embracing each moment with loving-kindness. Memorial service will be held on Monday July 31st at 6:00 p.m. at: Scottish Rite Masonic Center 6151 H Street, Sacramento, CA 95819
