Delano's Family
So sorry to hear about the loss of Delano. My father, Denzel Wood,
was an uncle to Delano. He and my mother, LaRue, really loved those Wood boys and their sisters. My dad always said that Russell got his basketball team and two cheerleaders. I think the brothers especially were all connected, because you could never mention one without the others. Such a wonderful and nice looking family - who always supported one another and the extended family. You could always count on a member of this family to be there for others with their love and support. So we just want to say, Thank-You for all the good memories, for all the kindness and love given. And may you know that you have our love and care at this time of sorrow. Looking forward to happy reunions.
Love the Denzel Wood Family

Dear Delano, I will miss you and the love you always showed me. You were my dad’s brother and I always held a place in my heart for you. Your daughter Teresa and I were good friends and she was there when I lost my daughter. She traveled far to support me in my time of grief. Maybe you and Ariel can hang out in paradise until we can all be together again. You leave a beautiful legacy one that is an example to all of us. I will love you and your family for all of time and eternity. Love always your niece Cindy.

I am heartbroken that I am out of the country at this time. My thoughts are with you. I cannot begin to tell you how much I respected Del. He was a great person. I only can hope to be half the man he was.
