Robert Young Obituary
Robert S. Young of West Valley City, Utah passed away in his home on September 21, 2016 of a broken heart.
Robert is survived by his mother. Linden Carlson, siblings, Richard Young, Kristin Shaw, Kevin Young, Brian Young, Brent Young, Cody Young, Shaun Carlson and Krista Collins.
Per Roberts's request, there will be no services.

Just saw this... and am at a loss. We went to school together and then later worked together until I moved to California. He was a good friend, a lot of fun and so knowledgeable. He will be missed!

I also worked with Robert and in the few short years I've known him he left a impact on my life. My thoughts are with his family and hopefully Robert has located a garden and newspaper comics in the afterlife... Oh and the Big Bang Theory.

I worked with Robert at the Huntsman Cancer Hospital. We had great conversations about his garden, animals, and life in general. He was a good man and he will be missed by many. I hope his loved ones find some peace in knowing that, while his time was cut short, he touched a lot of people. You will be missed.

I am proud to have worked alongside Robert at Huntsman Cancer Hospital for the past twelve years and I know how dedicated and valued an associate he was. He inspired us all to be the best that we could be. I will greatly miss his wisdom and friendship.

Robert was a great help to me. Through a mutual friend he visited me at the Living Planet Aquarium and gave me some valuable tips and suggestions on how to make things better. I have implemented most everything he suggested and my plants have done so much better since.

Grant's family relied so heavily on Robert's devoted care and attentive service during Grant's final weeks. His heart and intellect were ever attuned to that service, but he also cared for us, as well. I easily learned to love him during that month, and wanted to share consolations, gardening tips, and dinners in the months to come. I so regret his passing, and hope that his family finds much comfort in knowing how much he was loved and valued by others.
