Larry was such a humble, gracious, lovely gentleman. I am so delighted you and he found each other, Roni, and so happy for your 30 years of happiness together. And now, I am so sorry for your loss of this sweet, smart partner.

Always, always a perfect gentleman. He was very easy to work with (at SDG&E and during the course of his many endeavors). Nice guy, honest, and sincere. I am very sorry for your loss and hope you find comfort in the wonderful memories you have forever with you.

Larry was a GREAT leader and an outstanding individual. A source of inspiration, encouragement, vision and excellence. I was fortunate to work with, for and support Larry while at Lennar Communities in Carlsbad and later where Larry invited me to join him at Lennar Urban in downtown San Diego. Larry was a servant leader who lead by an example. I wish I had had an opportunity to express my appreciation for Larry in person. I am certain there are many more feeling similarly. To Roni, the Clemens, Barbano, Granfors, and Portnoy families you are an exceptional family having lost an extraordinary family member. Love to all, Sean

When I joined the staff of BIA San Diego in 1992, Larry was President of the Association. He was a kind leader, a true gentleman. I learned a lot about Association life from him, it must have been solid guidance as I'm still at BIA! Thank you Larry for setting me on the right path!

Larry was a wonderful role model whom I looked up to and respected for so many reasons. Always thoughtful of others and always wearing a smile, I am honored to have known him, worked with him, and not frequently enough, had coffee with him. San Diego was lucky to have him.
