Martha J. Ochoa

July 2, 1943 - May 3, 2023 Martha J. Ochoa was born in Los Angeles, CA and was the beloved daughter of Frank and Flora Ochoa, mother to Rebecca Gutierrez Keeton (Arthur R. Keeton, Jr.) and Andrea M. Gonzalez, grandmother to Amanda Flora Gonzalez-Zu¤iga (Ren‚ A. Zu¤iga), George A. Gonzalez, and Amaya Ochoa Keeton, and great-grandmother to Zia Ren‚ Zu¤iga and Aria Martha Zu¤iga. She graduated from Belmont High School in 1962, where friends described her as friendly, clever, and sharp. She took business classes at ELAC, LBCC, and Cerritos College. She met lifelong friends working for the cities of Bell as the City Clerk (1975-1987) and Carson (1992-2010). Martha was caring, put her family first, and loved them unconditionally. She made everything a party and fun. A trusted and faithful friend, respected and admired. She made you feel special, no matter how small the situation was. If you knew her, you were already in her circle of love. Everyone said she was the sweetest and nicest person because she supported everyone she met. She FOUGHT to live her life and had a free spirit, a great smile, loved eating, and had a beautiful sense of style. Martha was strong, brave, and independent. She is buried at Rose Hills Memorial Park - Primrose Lawn, 3888 Workman Mill Road, Whittier, CA 90601.
