Carol A. Hill, 62, of Pine Grove, entered into eternal rest after a brief illness with COVID on Saturday, Jan. 7, in Lehigh Valley Hospital-Cedar Crest, Allentown.
Born on May 4, 1959, in Pottsville, she was a daughter of the late Joseph Bluis and Catherine Lengle Rager
Carol had been employed as a waitress.
She loved to do crafting and was known as the "Dip Lady" at the craft shows for the gourmet dips she made and sold.
Her husband of seven years, Charles D. Hill, preceded her in death on September 11, 2013. Also preceding her in death were two brothers, Dennis Reichert and Mark Bluis, and a sister, Sheryl Bluis.
Surviving are her daughter, Audrey, wife of Michael Geisinger, of Shoemakersville; two grandchildren, Jensen Kauffman and Garrett Kauffman; two great-grandchildren, Kamryn and Eva; and four sisters, Judy McGovern, of Pine Grove, Joann, wife of Wayne Haller, of Schuylkill Haven, Patsy, wife of Lamar Shadle, of Pine Grove, and Christine, wife of Richard Helman, of Phoenix Park.; a sister-in-law, Dorothy Reichert, of Minersville; nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life graveside service will be held at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 4, 2022, at Indiantown Gap National Cemetery. The family would prefer, in lieu of flowers, donations be given to the Ruth Steiner SPCA, 18 Wertz Road, Pine Grove, PA 17963, in Carol's memory. The H.L.
