I remember when we were 14 and the old galleria cinema was still working and Jack and our group of friends would be the only ones at the movie " The Producers" and we would act out the movie as it went along and make jokes as the theatre was empty aside from us. I will always remember him as that sweet 14 year old who cared so much about his friends and family and making sure that everyone was laughing and having fun.

John was full heart, humble and very knowledgeable. His raw talent was beyond his years. As one of his teachers, it was truly an experience to work with John. He excelled quickly, not forgetting those who taught him lessons along the way.
John was not only a student at Bellevue College, he was a teacher and a coach. He volunteered hundreds of hours. From his works, this year's team placed 5th among the United States and Canada.
From his colleagues in the NSCOM Program at Bellevue College, we extend our condolences to John's Family and Partner. His quirky, smiling smirk, will be greatly missed in N251.

Janine and John and Jenny - I am terribly sorry to hear of Jack's death. I ran into Linda Myrick today and she told me. What a tragedy. And what a great picture of Jack here - I had not seen him for years. In my mind he's still 12 - for some reason the photo you sent from his 12th birthday party stayed on our fridge for years. Sweet and funny - and a great friend to Tim from kindergarten, that's how I remember Jack. You all will often be in my thoughts and prayers - prayers for peace.

Janine and John: We just heard about Jack, and are so sad. He was a great young man, and so fun to have around when he was younger. We'll say some prayers and keep you in our thoughts. Dave and Tina

Jack-- I miss you so much. I remember building a maze in your backyard to find out which of our dogs was smarter. We did a lot of stuff like that. I remember your generosity and your passion, and I won't soon forget it. Words fail in times like this but thank you.

To John's family,
I am very sorry to hear of your loss. I just happened to see John Rose's obituary in the paper and it caught my eye because he passed away at the same age as my son did in March.
I am sorry for you loss and the pain that accompanies losing John. I am sure he has found peace.
