Kevin Watters Obituary
February 22, 1988 - December 12, 2022
Kevin Richard Watters passed unexpectedly in his sleep on December 12, 2022. He was 34 years of age.
Arriving February 22, 1988, Kevin was literally both born and raised on the Avenues of the Sunset District of San Francisco. He attended St. Cecilia Grammar School and St. Ignatius College Preparatory, and he enjoyed academic and athletic success at both. After earning SI's Brophy Award, he accepted an offer to play football at College of the Holy Cross in Worcester, MA. Kevin returned home to San Francisco to attend Hastings Law School, and 3 years later he graduated and passed the California Bar. He enjoyed a successful career as a tax attorney with Andersen Tax for the last 7 years, and he recently accepted a job at the Fremont Group to serve as a Vice President.
Kevin is survived by his loving parents Paul and Teri Watters, brothers Mike (Ashley) and Chris and his sister Elizabeth Watters Schwartze (Brian). He is also survived by aunts Ann De Benedetti and Celine Curran (Tim), uncles Liam Watters, PJ De Benedetti (Camille), Mike De Benedetti (Kim), and John De Benedetti (Donna) as well as his favorite niece (Willow) and numerous cousins.
He was taken from us much too soon, and we will miss him forever.
A visitation will be held at St. Cecilia Church, 2555 17th Ave. in San Francisco on Tuesday, December 20th at 10:00 am with a memorial Mass to follow at 11:00 am.

Dear Watters Family, I was shocked when Sr. Peggy called me to let me know of Kevin's passing. My memories of him always make me smile - clever, happy, talented, athletic, smart, kind, and more. Kevin was a wonderful guy. You are in my thoughts and prayers. I cannot imagine Kevin ever being far from you. I can so believe Kevin taking on wings to do God's work.
