Brett Anderson Obituary

Brett 'Rambo' Anderson, 54, of Sanborn died on November 29, 2020, at Woodwind Hospital in Woodbury. A Celebration of Life will be held in the Summer of 2021 due to COVID-19 concerns. Arrangements are with the Sturm Funeral Home in Sleepy Eye.
Online condolences may be left for the family at www.sturmfh.com.
Brett Lynn Anderson was born to Lynn and Sharon (Pilaczynski)) Anderson on December 1, 1965 in Springfield and grew up in Sleepy Eye where he attended elementary and high school and graduated in 1984. Brett attended Willmar Vocational College in Willmar for Industrial Welding and graduated with honors on May 4, 1987. After college Brett spent the majority of his wild days in Windom until he purchased his home in Sanborn. Brett met Misty Tordsen in the summer of 2014. Brett and Misty got married September 15, 2018. They both enjoyed being outdoors and had a huge love for animals. Brett worked at Crysteel Truck Equipment in Lake Crystal as a welder up until December of 2018 when he was diagnosed with liver disease. Brett's hobbies include camping, fishing, hunting, riding his Harley and spending time with his family and friends and talking shit. Brett was a member of the FIGAWI motorcycle club in Cobden and enjoyed attending Dough 4 Joe in Fergus Falls. Brett was a man that couldn't pass up a bargain whether he needed it or not!
Brett is survived by the love of his life, Misty Anderson of Sanborn; his five fur babies, Precious, Lexi, Gracie, Emmie and Piper the cat; step-daughters, Shala Pabst, Lacy (John) Hoffmann; three step-grandchildren, Cassidy, Layne and Wylder, all of Redwood Falls; step-father, Gary (Char) Zimmerman of Sleepy Eye; and many other family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Sharon Zimmerman; father, Lynn Anderson; and Brett's faithful dog, Sadie.
Cards and flowers can be sent to the family at 200 East Winona St., PO Box 248, Sanborn, MN 56083.
