Timothy SPILKER

May 3, 1957 - November 28, 2023

Tim was born to Patricia and Kenneth Spilker on May 3,1957, in Spokane, Washington. Tim was the second oldest of six children and attended St. Aloysius Catholic School and Gonzaga Preparatory School, where he was a multi-sport athlete and avid snow skier. He met his future wife, Molly Merriman, while on a snow skiing trip in 1973 and the two were married in 1977.

Tim became widely known and respected throughout the pacific northwest as President of Spilker Masonry Company working alongside two of his brothers, Mike and Matt Spilker. Under Tim's leadership, Spilker Masonry grew into one of the largest masonry contractors in the region, completing many iconic buildings in Spokane and throughout the western United States.

In 2010, Tim began a new venture at Spilker Precast with his son, Kevin. The father/son team continued to grow the business with new opportunities and innovations. Tim's business acumen and hard work were driving forces behind both successful companies.

Tim will always be known to his numerous colleagues, friends, family and acquaintances for his intelligence, generosity, integrity and work ethic. Tim loved to spend his downtime with his wife, children, grandchildren and friends at Priest Lake. You could often find Tim leading huckleberry picking expeditions, riding motorcycles and snowmobiles, or pulling tubers behind the boat.

Tim will be missed dearly by his loved ones. He leaves behind his loving wife Molly (Merriman); his two children, Krista (Craig Caro) and Kevin (Stefani); and his grandchildren Asher, Norah, Ronin, and Mila. He is survived by his brothers John Spilker (Abbi), Mike Spilker (Susan) and Matt Spilker (Becky); sister Therese Schmarr (Dave); in laws, nieces and nephews; and extended family and friends. He leaves us to join his mother Patricia, his father Ken, his older brother Kip, and his son-in-law Craig in everlasting rest.

Education was important to Tim and in lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his memory to St. Aloysius Gonzaga Catholic School (Tim's alma mater and Asher's current school), All Saints Catholic School (Norah's alma mater and Ronin's current school), Joya Child & Family Development (Mila's alma mater), or Jesuits West.

Funeral service will be at St. Aloysius Church, Spokane, Washington on December 21, 2023, at 11:00am. A reception will immediately follow.
