News Death Notice
EARNEST , Mary Leona "Lee" age 61 of Enon passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 28, 2013 at home. She was born the daughter of William H. & Eileen (Cummings) Niemeier on March 9, 1951 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. She is preceded in death by her birth parents. She is survived by her step mother Betty Forman, her husband Jim Earnest, her children Eileen Earnest of Cincinnati and Ken (Marie) Earnest of Huber Heights, sisters Mary Anne Steiner and Norah Cullen, brothers Bill (Becky) Niemeier and Tom (Jane) Niemeier. Friends may call at the Burcham Jennings Funeral Home, 119 E. Main St. Fairborn, OH 45324 on Friday, March 8, 2013 11AM to 1PM with services following at 1PM with Rev. Robert Haden, Celebrant. How shocked we are to hear about Lee. Such a fun and caring person. We always had fun at bowling and tournaments, etc. We are so sorry for you loss and it saddens our hearts to think that she's gone. We send prayers and comfort your way.

Jim and family,
I am so sorry about the loss of Lee. I got to know Lee during my time on council and always respected her passion and concern for the Village of Enon. I will miss seeing her presence at the council meetings. She truly was a giving person. May God be with all of you at this time.
