William Drake Obituary

Drake, Dr. William L. Jr. Fortified with the Sacraments of Holy Mother Church, Sunday November 4, 2012. Dear husband of Priscilla M. Drake; dear father of Barbara Anne Drake, Dr. Thomas A. (Patricia) Drake, Laura (Ted) Fiudo, Marcia (David) Payne and Judy Drake; dear grandfather of Angela and Adam Drake, Andrea (Chris) Brooks, Marya, Greg, Audrey and Jimmy Fiudo, Timothy and Elizabeth Payne; dear brother-in-law of Patricia Lutz. Dr. Drake graduated from Marquette University Medical School and served in the Army under the rank of Captain. Dr. Drake worked as an assistant pathologist at St. John Mercy Hospital, Deaconess Hospital, and retired as the Director of Pathology at Missouri Baptist. He was a member of the Cardinal Mindzenty Foundation and many other organizations. Services: Funeral Mass Saturday, November 10, 2012, 12:00 noon at the Ascension Catholic Church, 230 Santa Maria Dr., Chesterfield, MO. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Dear Priscilla and family: My very sincerest sympathies to each of you. Dr. Drake was a special, and very gentle God-fearing man. I know he will truly be missed. May God's peace and love surround you all at this difficult time. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
