Jonmarc Holland Obituary
Our love, Jonmarc Christian Holland, found peace on 4/7/15. He was only 27. The mental health state of this country failed him over and over and he took his own life after years of physical pain resulting in mental torment.
Jonmarc was an amazingly compassionate person who loved helping others, even in the midst of his own suffering. He fought until he could fight no more. He loved spirituality (Jesus Christ was his Savior), gaining knowledge, reading, journaling, art, music, photography, Lake Ella, and meeting new people. He wanted so badly to go to college, but physical and mental issues always derailed him. Now he has ALL KNOWLEDGE in Heaven!!
Jonmarc loved his family, especially his nieces and nephews. He missed out seeing his new niece by mere hours.
Jonmarc left to one day join him, his parents John and Dee Holland; sister Jessica Veloza (Jonathan); brother Stephen Holland (Kathleen); sister-cousin Sandra Castano (Dan); his loving aunts and uncle and numerous cousins and friends.
All of Jonmarc's Grands, his Aunt Sissy, and Uncle Mark have gone before him. They welcomed him to Heaven.
The GATHERING OF LOVE service for Jonmarc will be held at The Dogwood House, 2552 Capital Circle NE, Tallahassee on April 26th from 4-7pm. Contributions can be made in Jonmarc's memory to http://www.unitedforcare.nationbuilder.com/contribute for the passage of medical marijuana in the state of Florida. We feel Jonmarc would be alive today if medical marijuana had been available to him.

He will be missed it's sad that the healthcare system fails people with mental illness i recently lost my son's father due to the same thing and it's a terrible thing to go through my condolences to the family

I do not know you, but my heart aches at your loss of this fine young man. I am the mother and sister of men with mental illness, and know some of the frustration, pain and disappointment mental illness can cause. I hope people with you will bring you comfort and that you will find peace.

Johnny, I am so very sorry! My heart aches for you and your family. I know Jonmarc meant the world to you and you will miss him terribly. Please take comfort in knowing that you helped to make his life as full as it could possibly be. He will always be with you in your heart and memories. While we only met Jonmarc once, we found his life story to be both tragic and inspirational at the same time. We hope he has found peace and wish the family the very best during this difficult time.
