Anthony Simos

Anthony J. "Tony" Simos died March 14, 2010, in New Jersey. He was born in Worcester, Mass., and lived on North Hutchinson Island for 30 years. He also lived in Summit and Newark, N.J. Before retirement, he was a mathematics teacher for the Parsippany Troy-Hills School District in Parsippany, N.J. He served in the Navy in the Pacific Theater in World War II. He was a member of St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, Fort Pierce. Survivors include his wife, Carolyn of North Hutchinson Island and Manchester, N.J.; son, James P. of McLean, Va.; daughters, Denise Holderied of Bridgewater, N.J., and Patricia Chang of Basking Ridge, N.J.; and four grandchildren. SERVICES: A memorial service will be April 18 at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church in Fort Pierce. Arrangements are by Paskas Funeral Services, Livingston, N.J.
