Ruby Hoover Obituary
Born on November 11, 1942, in DuBois, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence and Muriel (Passmore) Morgan.
Ruby graduated from the DuBois Area High School. On August 31, 1963, she married Franklin C. "Frank" Hoover in Luthersburg; he preceded her in death on February 11, 2018.
She was head cook for the DuBois Area Middle School and Luthersburg School. She enjoyed collecting antiques, going to craft shows and spending time with family. Ruby was a member of Saint Luke's United Church of Christ.
Ruby is survived by one granddaughter, Britany Lynn; one great-granddaughter, Isabella Rae; one sister, Susan Carlson of Las Vegas; one cousin, Mary White; and a family friend, Wendy Perry.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a son, Brian D. Hoover; brother-in-law Terry Carlson; and sister-in-law Patty O'Harrow.
Friends and family will be received Friday, April 4, 2025 from 4-8 p.m. and again Saturday, April 5 from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m., with LaMarr Adamson CLP, at the Adamson Funeral Chapel & Crematorium, DuBois. Burial will take place at Saint Luke's United Church of Christ Cemetery.
Memorial donations may be made to Saint Luke's United Church of Christ, 4229 Golden Yoke Road, Luthersburg, PA 15848.
