Segundo Rosario-Gomez Obituary
With a heavy hearts the children and wife of Segundo Rosario-Gomez age 81 announce his passing on July 31, 2021.
My Father was born in Humacao Puerto Rico. He traveled to the United States looking for the love of his life Augustina Colon whom he married on December 29, 1967. They have been married for 53 years.
Sequndo worked for SheildAlloy in Newfiled for 39 years, construction worker on the side doing roofing and plumbing to many homes in Vineland.
In his free time, he enjoyed playing pool, dominoes in a softball and bowling league. He was a lifelong Philadelphia Sports fanatic my dad was always rooting for the Eagles and Phillies. Sequndo was well known for his devotion in helping the elders, friends, family and even total strangers, picking up their medicine doing grocery, needed a ride to appts or work whatever anyone needed him for. If he could not help you, he would find someone that could. He loved his church home the Catholic Church on eight street in vineland where he would help with any repairs needed. My Father was a good man, loved people and was well known for his famous pig roast and family gatherings.
He is survived by his wife Agustina Rosario, his children Victor Rosario (Beth Samatovicz), Segundo Rosario Jr, Luz Maria Rosario. Grand children Ricardo Rosario, Izaiah Pellot, Elyza Pellot, Victor Rosario Jr., Anthony Rosario, Jaylin Rosario (Shay) and great grand daughter Kailyn Milah Rosario. Two sisters Nina Rosario and Lucy Rosario
Pre-deceased by his father Victor Rosario, Gloria Gomez and his sister Betsy Rosario.
He was a devoted son, uncle, husband, grandfather, friend and best of all a Father to many.
The children, grandchildren and the wife of Segundo Rosario-Gomez would like to thank all of the friends and family for all your support and love.

Segundo, bowled on my team for many years. I have never met a kinder more generous human in all of my travels. He never had a bad word to say about anyone.
I attended many of his famous pig roasts, on this one occasion my wife was not able to make the event. He loving made up a plate for me to take home. (Which was thoroughly appreciated) Several weeks later I had tried to return his plate, He just smiled at me and said, "When someone gives you a plate of food, you never return the plate empty." He refused to take his own plate back..... I can't remember if he ever got that plate back, but I will always remember "Segundo". He will be missed by many. May his wonderful soul rest in peace.
