Barry L. Turner departed this earthly life on Friday, February 23, 2024 at Norwalk Hospital after a short illness, at the age of 63.
Barry is predeceased by his father William F. Turner.
Barry is survived by his mother Elizabeth B. (Stanford) Turner of Norwalk, CT, brothers Gilbert C. Turner (Lisa) of Garner, NC, Van L. Turner (Gina) of Stratford, CT and sister Antoinette T. Blair-Cookey of MD.
Also surviving him are his 5 children: Erica M. Turner (aka Munch), Barry W. Turner, Baylee Turner, Chanel Turner and Shaylene Turner all of Norwalk CT, his 2 grandchildren Brandon and Breyanna and longtime companion Gail "Marie" Simmons of Norwalk, CT.
Barry was employed as a driver for ElderHouse, Inc. (Adult Day Care Center) in Norwalk for 28 years.
A memorial service for Barry will be held at Collins Funeral Home, 92 East Ave., Norwalk, CT on Sunday, August 18, 2024, at 3:15 p.m. Friends may visit with the family from 2 p.m. until the time of the service.

Everyday that goes by without you here is tough for me. I miss coming downstairs and seeing you and you saying to me " hey kidd " i love and miss you dada may you rest in power king i love you dada i think about you and cry everyday and will do the best i can to take care of mama and the girls and show you the man i become
