Christopher Hintz Obituary
Christopher Charles Hintz, 53, formerly of Cumming, son of Harold and Sandra Hintz, died on April 2, 2021. He was born in Woodland, CA, on May 8,1967. Chris was raised in Ithaca, New York, graduated from Ithaca High School and from the State University of New York in Albany.
Chris is survived by his two sons: Ryan (fiance Belle, grandson Lucas due in May) of Dawsonville, GA and Chase of Louisville, KY; his mother, Sandra Hintz of Ithaca, NY; sisters Amy Eiden (Joseph) of Ocoee, FL, and Kimberly Hintz of Charlotte, NC; nephew Alex Eiden (fiance Sara) and niece Cassandra Eiden, both of South Carolina, and many cousins.
Chris will be particularly missed for his wicked sense of humor. He had a mischievous grin and a twinkle in his eye as he used any means to garner a laugh. He was passionate about sports and especially loved coaching his cherished sons throughout their youth. Chris was also an avid card player and the family takes comfort knowing he is joyously dealing another hand to his father and heavenly loved ones.
Viewing hours will be Saturday, April 10, from 9 -11 a.m., at McDonald and Son Funeral Home, 150 Sawnee Drive, Cumming, GA.
A service will follow at 11:30 a.m. at Cumming First United Methodist Church, 770 Canton Highway, in Cumming.

Amy, and the whole Hintz family:
I'm so sorry for the loss of your brother, and family member in Chris. I remember he, and my brother Chris growing up playing sports all the way growing up from Caroline Elementary school through Football at Ithaca High. Chris was always such a nice person. My prayers and thoughts go out to you all.
