LOCASCIO, 77
AUBURNDALE - Mr. James "Jim" P. Locascio, age 77, a resident of Auburndale passed away Wednesday, October 10, 2012 at the Good Shepherd Hospice Residential Center in Auburndale due to cancer.
Mr. Locascio was born August 17, 1935 in Streator, Illinois to Paul and Dora (Cusmana) Locascio, Sr. He was a resident of Auburndale since 1978 coming from Illinois.
He was a retired owner/operator in the laundry & dry cleaning industry (co owned J & J Laundries for 25 years) and a United States Marine Corp veteran. Jim was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Winter Haven and enjoyed cards, woodworking and spending time with family & friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife of 46 years JoAnn; brother Paul and 3 sisters Catherine, Mary & Tina.
Jim is survived by: son: James J. Locascio of Auburndale, FL, daughter: Tina Marie (Ray) Bivins of Mesa, AZ, 3 brothers: Thomas (Mary) Locascio of Bloomington, IL, Peter Locascio of Streator, IL, Samuel (Jackie) Locascio of Lake Alfred, FL, 5 grandchildren: Camryn, Carson, Gavin, Aaron & Andrew.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations in Mr. Locascio's name to Good Shepherd Hospice, 105 Arneson Ave., Auburndale, FL. 33823.
A Mass will be held 10:00 AM Tuesday, October 16, 2012 at the St. Joseph's Catholic Church (Chapel), 532 Avenue M Northwest, Winter Haven. Visitation will be held Monday, October 15, 2012 from 6:00 till 8:00 PM at the Kersey Funeral Home, 108 E. Lake Stella Dr., Auburndale.

Mr.Locascio was a great man. He would come ask for me everytime he came to the CCCR. He always had a big hug for me and then we would talk for a while. I know he is in Heaven because he would always tell me he is ready to go home to be with the Lord. My prayers are with you all.
