Time has a way of passing very quickly and Im surprised to remember the year was so long ago when Heather went to be with her Lord. There is a term called spiritual discernment that is so fitting to be able to describe her the short time I knew her while nursing at LifeCare in Ruston. I knew instantly she had faith in God. She was loving, vulnerable, kind and had a servant spirit. She was a rare gem as most people as young & beautiful as Heather would not live to give back to others. She valued & adored her animals. She was gifted at ministering and encouraging one on one. I still wonder why Gods plans are so different than ours but I know all who knew her can find peace that she is in the presence of our Lord. She blessed all who knew her. Continued prayers for her family.

Mr. Steve, Mrs. June and Heath, Words cannot express my sadness and grief at Heather's passing. I spent many nights at your house playing cards and enjoying fellowshipping with the college group at McClendon. Heather was the reason for that. She went out of her way to include me and I have never forgotten her kindness. I will pray for your family during the coming months. May the peace of God surround you as you grieve.

Please accept my most sincere thoughts and prayers of sympathy in hearing of Heather's untimely passing. I remember her as a delightful, sweet young girl in my son Nathan's classes. My youngest daughter had the same surgery as Heather and both overcame this. May God give you peace and comfort to get through this difficult time.

Before I ever met Heather I was impressed with her. I could not believe a woman of her age and busy life would be spending the only free time she had volunteering to be a friend to some lonesome child at the Children's Home. I heard lots of stories over the years about Heather. Her selflessness and kindness affected my family in many ways directly and indirectly.

We have grieved with you this week. Shed lots of tears. May the Lord our God be ever close and heal your hearts over time.
