Jim was such a wonderful friend, co-worker and mentor to me when I was originally hired at Penn State, and have always been grateful to him for his mentoring and guidance. Such an intelligent man with a great sense of humor. I remember him stating from across the office, "I´m turning off my damn computer and going golfing". He was so fun to work with! No one could compare to Jim. He was just a great guy! Jim always talked about his wife and kids who he adored. He will be missed by many. Sending prayers and warm hugs.
