Thomas Carson Obituary
Born in Morris Plains, N.J., son of Margaret M. Gavigan Carson of Scranton and the late Paul F. Carson, he was a graduate of Scranton Technical High School. He worked as a paving operator before his illness. He enjoyed playing softball, golfing with his brother and walks with his best girl, Halle.
Also surviving are his fiancée, Lisa Solimani, Scranton; a daughter, Melissa Carson, Scranton; a granddaughter, Emma; three brothers, Paul Carson Jr., Mechanicsburg; William Carson, Carbondale; and Robert Carson, Throop; two sisters, Margaret Cosgrove, Carbondale; and Noel Lozinger, Clarks Summit; several nieces and nephews.
He was also preceded in death by two sisters, Ann Marie and Mary Kay Carson.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Thursday at 10 a.m. at St. Clare's Church, 2301 N. Washington Ave., Scranton. Interment will be private.
Arrangements are by the Albert P. O'Donnell Funeral Home, 2025 Green Ridge St., Dunmore.
