Uncle Tom we love you and will miss you. You made our Aunt Lisa so happy. We will never forget when you would come and watch us race our motorcycles or seeing you at family parties or at Grandpa's on Wednesdays. For the last 5 years, I had an AMAZING Uncle Tom... I think I started calling you "Uncle" about the 4th time I met you! :) I will miss all of our "horse talks"...and even our last "covered wagon" conversation! I feel so blessed that you became a part of my family and my life. I know Grandpa is gonna miss you on Wednesday dinners...and my Dad is going to miss sitting up in the barn with you watching the deer. We ALL will miss you and treasure the memories we made with you. I have faith that you are still here with us :) and with those who are truly 'honoring' the wonderful man you are. I LOVE you VERY much Uncle Tom, and I will miss you forever.

Everytime I look at my sister and pictures of Tom I cry my eyes out..It will be 2 weeks tomorrow that he was taken from her. My sister was his life and their whole world revolved around eachother. Tom was an amazing guy and will be deeply missed and never forgotten. I know that whereever Tom is, he will love and take care of her, just like he used to tell her everyday that he was here..One day they will be together again for the rest of their lives just like they had planned..We will always remember you Tom and the special memories that you gave to us and our sister..Love you...Jodi

My family has only known Tom for five years, but we loved him like a brother. He made my sister complete like we have never seen her...and their love was genuine and intense. I only wish they were given more time. To his parents, Hank and Linda, Kris, Nick and Shaye, Kate and Kelly...we give our thoughts and love. We love you Tom and Lisa.

Tommy was the hub around which a part of our world at SEMCO revolved - he was the morning laughter around cups of coffee, the sympathetic ear, the giver of sage advice, and sometimes even a participant in practical jokes - our lives are richer for his presence, and our souls greater for his memory.
Tom, we miss you terribly, but are thankful that you were in our lives.

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say...
but first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.
I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I'm with you every morning, noon and night.
That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through,
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."

It's good to have you back again; you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, they'll be here later on.
I need you here badly; you're part of my plan.
There's so much that we have to do, to help our mortal man.

God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.
And when you lie in bed at night, the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you....in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years
because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.
But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
But if I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.
But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is o'er.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are many rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
but together we can do it by taking one day at a time.
It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too...
that as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who's in sorrow and pain,
then you can say to God at night......"My day was not in vain."
And now I am contented....that my life has been worthwhile,
knowing as I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.

So if you meet somebody who is sad and feeling low,
just lend a hand to pick him up, as on your way you go.
When you're walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free,
remember you're not going.....you're coming here to me.

My thoughts & prayers go out to my sister Lisa for losing the love of her life. Tom was only in our family for 5 yrs, but it felt like 50. The love that they had for 5 yrs, most people don't get in a lifetime. Tom will be so missed by everyone . Such a terrible senseless tradegy that will change everyones lives forever. I am saddened to know that my sister will have to live without Tom for the rest of her life, but he ALWAYS told her that she was the love of HIS life and that he would always take care of her..now it will just be in a different way.. We ALL love you Tom ....Jesse, Jodi, Jake & Jagger

I feel I was absolutely privilaged to have worked with Tommy the past year and a half. Lisa, my heart goes out to you....you are the love of his life and your love was envied by everyone that saw you together. Tommy wanted so little in life, to love his family and friends and be there for anyone he could. To see the outpouring of love and support for his family is the truest testament to the incredible man he was. My thoughts and prayers are with Lisa and the Thomas family and I hope they all continue to honor this amazing man's memory in the kind, compassionate way he would want. I love you Lisa! Tommy I am going to miss you so much! :)
