I've known David going on 35 years and he was one of my very best friends in elementary school (Mtn. View) and on into junior high (Longs Peak). We wrestled, played baseball and football together and spent numerous and what seemed like endless summers, swimming at Sunset Pool, playing army at his mom's house and riding our bikes all over Longmont looking for adventure and getting into whatever trouble we could find. His hilarious sense of humor and his raspy laugh always made for a good time no matter what the situation.
Over the years and no matter what the distance, David and I always tried to keep in touch and he always brought a little happiness into my day whenever he and I would talk and reminisce about the "old days." David was a one of a kind individual and I am proud to say he was my friend - I will truly miss him! God Bless You, David, rest in peace buddy.
My most sincere condolences go out to his entire family.

Another example of just how (too) short, and utterly, wickedly, unfair life can be. Hug those that are close to you, even closer, in such great times of sadness and mourning over such a wonderful, artist soul/man.
From cheering for Ethan and Rutger on the sidelines to sitting on your table having you give me the most painful tattoo to date, and accompanying several people/friends to be tattooed.
You you were a great person that I am honored to be able to say I have met and got to know for too short a period of time.
Missed but certainly never forgotten. Rest in Paradise, My Friend.

Dave. ... shock, sadness, heartache.... just a few words to describe emotions felt since learning that you left this earth. Your time here was too short but yet in that short time you touched so many people's lives, made a million friends along the way, made us all laugh with your wonderful sense of humor and decorated our bodies with your amazing talented work of art. I will always remember you, I too wear your art on my body, but one thing that I will always laugh about when I think of you is "MOTIS". David was a good friend of mine in grade school and through high school, we just clicked and had the same since of humor. We did cause a lot of trouble and got into a lot of trouble during those years. Dave you will be missed and remembered by me forever....Love ya man. I am shocked and saddened to hear about Dave's passing. I was fortunate enough to have met Crazy Dave years ago when he still worked at Eco Cycle. Dave always found a way to make me laugh, and was a great person to have as a friend. God bless you Dave, you have left too soon. I will keep your friends and family in my prayers.

Dave and I met through is amazing tattoo skills but remained close for much more than than that. He had one of the biggest hearts I had ever seen and was always there when I needed him. And vice versa. RIP my brother.

Dave was an incredible person. Truly thoughtful, generous, hilarious (especially when he would crack jokes in the most serious moments), hard working, fun, caring, an extremely loyal friend, dedicated, meticulous, creative, and loving.
