Daniel Rhea Sullens, 70, of Walnut Ridge, died April 6, 2025.
He was born Dec. 17, 1954, in Black Rock, to James Oswald Sullens and Ella Sue Jones Sullens. He was a lifelong resident of Lawrence County. Danny served his country in the army as a member of the 82nd Airborne Division. He also worked as a mechanic for Snapp Ford in Walnut Ridge for many years, and was a long-haul truck driver before retiring.
Danny was preceded in death by his parents, James and Sue; and brother, Mike Sullens, of Pocahontas.
He is survived by his daughter, Autumn (Greg) Sullens-Burks of Jonesboro; grandsons, CJ Couch and Krischan Couch, both of Jonesboro; brothers, Pat (Tammy) Sullens and James (Ann) Sullens, both of Arkansas; and many other friends and family.
Per his wishes, Danny was buried in the Arkansas State Veteran's Cemetery in the Birdeye Community of Cherry Valley on Friday, April 18, 2025.
