Joseph A. Tiller

Joseph A. Tiller, age 40, died on Monday, August 15, 2005 at his home in Falls Church, Va., after a long, courageous battle with lung cancer. He was born on May 1, 1965 in Richmond, Va. Joe was a 1987 graduate of Virginia Polytechnic Institute receiving his Bachelor of Science degree in aerospace engineering. He worked as an aerospace engineer for Rockwell-Collins/NLX in Sterling, Va. for the past several years. Joe was the beloved husband of 13 years to Jo Ann Tiller; loving father of Justin Cimba of Pittsburg, Pa., son of James N. and Erna M. Tiller of Richmond, Va.; brother of Trude Barker of Williamsburg, Va. and Marlene Neal of Midlothian, Va.; uncle of Jordan and Will Barker, Jenae, Tyler and Gabriella Cimba. The family will receive friends on Friday, August 19, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Adams Green Funeral Home, 721 Elden Street, Herndon, Va. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, August 20, at 11 a.m. at St. John Neumann, 11900 Lawyers Road, Reston, Va. A memorial mass will be held at the Catholic Church of the Epithany, Richmond, Va., at a later date.
