Minor
Rebecca Katherine Minor, 97, died on July 3, 2024. She was born to the late Rubin and Mary White, in Rocky Mt., North Carolina. She is also preceded in death by her loving husband of 56 years, Joe Minor; her son, Timothy Minor; and her grandsons, Joe Minor and John Ratliff. She was a long time member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in New Bohemia. She is survived by her children, Richard Minor (Karen), Krista Ratliff (Frank), Anita Sinks, and Paula Britt (J.T.); her grandchildren, Melanie Nelson, Sara Minor, Lauren Riner, Tim Ratliff, Anne Ludgate, Rob Brinkley, Megan Solomon, Erin Johnson, Charlie Britt, and Rebecca Britt; twenty-one great-grandchildren; and numerous extended family and friends. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 9, 2024, from 6 to 8 p.m., at the Chester Chapel of J.T. Morriss & Son Funeral Home. A service will be held the following day, Wednesday, July 10, 2024, at 10 a.m., at the same location. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to the Bensley Bermuda Rescue Squad or to Crater Community Hospice. Condolences may be conveyed to the family online at jtmorriss.com.

Anita and Family,
Hard to figure out what to say. Your mother was full of love, life, and laughter. She was so gentle, but she had this tremendous wit and memory when we talked, that I could hardly believe her age. She loved her family more than anything, and she will be greatly missed. Oh, yes...I will never forget my last visit with her...BOOM!! Ended up on the floor and who knows what happened. I am so very sorry for your loss. Connie
