Sandy & I were literally "childhood" friends. We grew up 4 houses from each other on Manning Blvd. and as kids we played together often...particularly basketball across the street at Sven Edlund's house. (Sven had a great court at the rear of his driveway!) Sandy & I went to PS 16, Livingston Junior High, Albany HS and Temple Israel Hebrew School together and for the first 14-15 years of our lives we were inseparable. As you can imagine, at 83 I write more & more of these "farewell" messages , but this one is particularly poignant to me. Rest in peace old friend. I hope that someday we'll be able to reminisce about our early years together and about the care-free times we shared.
Fondly, Libby!

Dee & Howard Rubinger. We are in Florida now and just got the news . We are both saddened and shocked. Our sincere condolences to Carole and the entire Roth family. Sandy was a special friend and neighbor to us . He will be dearly missed, not only by us , but the entire Clifton Park community for all of his dedicated efforts to make it a better place for us, our family grandchildren and future generations to live here.

Bob Schwarz here. It's January 22. I just got this sad news. A financial wizard, he was. Yes, as hospital consultant, I had the pleasure of working with Sandy at St Peters, way back in 1976, a mere 43 years ago. He "taught" me a lot. Them were the days. 'Not many around like Sandy. My sincere condolences to his family.

My thoughts and prayers are with all of you. I am so sorry for your loss. He was such a great man. He was always so kind and caring and a heck of a softball coach!! I know he will be missed, and I know that I am better for just having known him. Shelly

Carole and family,
So sad to hear of Sandy's passing. He was a welcome addition to the Bellevue team, a valued executive and a mentor to many. I was very fortunate to have his wisdom and his friendship for many years. God bless.

Sandy was sweetest kindest man. He made us feel so welcomed when we started playing pickle ball. We loved his sense of humor. We will miss him so much.

Roth Family,
So grateful to have been a part of your family over the many years. I am very sorry for your loss.
I remember one day driving to the mountains in the red pick up truck. Mr. Roth happened to drive up beside me while stopped at the red light getting on the north way.....he mentioned something to the fact of how adventurous we were while laughing...I think there was about 5 friends riding in the back of my pickup with all our hiking gear. I am pretty sure Bryan hid under our gear so his dad didn't see him:)
Even though we have been away for a long time from NY, we appreciate the Roth's continually checking up on us to make sure the Fraziers are doing well.
Love you guys!

I will miss Sandys caring ways and honest opinions. I always enjoyed working with Sandy when he was on the Clifton Park Town Board and I was working at the Town Hall. Rest now, Sandy. Your work here is done.
