WEBER Joyce Fae Joyce Fae Weber, 82, of Waterville, formerly of Grand Rapids, OH, died Saturday, July 31, 2010 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio in Perrysburg, OH. She was born to Lewis B. & Amelia C. Finkenbiner on June 19, 1928 in Sylvania, OH Joyce was a beautician in Waterville, OH for nearly 60 years and owned Joyce's Beaute Shoppe for over 50 years. She was known to go and pick up her customers that did not drive and on Fridays it was a custom to also go out to eat lunch with them. Joyce was a Central committee person for the Lucas County Democrat Party and held office in the Waterville Democrat Club. She was a member of the Anthony Wayne Democrat Club, Waterville Fire Auxiliary, and Whitehouse American Legion 384 Auxiliary. She also worked as an election worker for many years in the area. One of Joyce's favorite things was to have reunions. She made the arrangements and sent out cards for the Grand Rapids class of '46, the Finkenbiner and Weber family reunions. She was a big Detroit Tigers fan as well as a fan of golf and Tiger Woods, she loved watching them both. She married Richard P Weber Sr. June 30, 1946 in Grand Rapids, OH; he preceded her in death July 13, 1992. Surviving are her daughter, Judith Gibson Carter (Ray "Butch"); son, Richard "Bud" (Patricia) Weber; grand-children, Susan (Steve) Haas, Scott (Jodi) Weber, Jamie (Angie) Weber, Julie (Ron) Gaines, Chris (Amanda) Weber, Brett, Scott and Melissa Carter; 18 great- grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandson; sister-in-law, Ann Finkenbiner and nieces, Jill (Doug) Cone and Amy (Scott) Huntsman. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Budd L. and George (Ted) Finkenbiner; son, Robert L. (Karen) Weber and her husband, Richard. Friends and family may call Tuesday, August 3, 2010 from 3-8 p.m. at Peinert Funeral Home, Whitehouse, OH. Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow at Whitehouse Cemetery. You all know how much I care about your Mom. I have always been touched by the kindness so easily shared by The Weber's and Joyce's dedication to her ladies was amazing. Losing a "Mom" is one of the most difficult times in my life, but I know that Joyce's wisdom will guide you and you will hear her speaking to you. Remember, sorrow is not forever, love is. I am so sorry I cannot be there with you.

Dear Judy and Family, Your mom was a very special lady. I enjoyed helping her when I worked at the Bank in Waterville. She always had a smile on her face. i've been thinking about your mom lately, while trying to potty train my little girl. your mom taught me, while doing hair and baking pies. what a special person she was to let us (my sister and I) play in the shop while she worked. I have wonderful memories of both your mom and my not so bald headed daddy. I will miss them both.

Losing a parent or a family member is a sad time for the family and friends, she was special. Our prayers are with everyone to remember all the memories of her and know she is in a better place.
