Michael BALDWIN Obituary

BALDWIN Michael "Wrecker" Michael A. Baldwin passed away Monday, June 20, 2011. He was born in Oregon, Ohio August 29, 1959. Starting early in his life, he developed a love for living free and riding. Later in life he acquired the name "Wrecker" after a few minor wrecks on his motorcycle. A man with a bigger heart you couldn't find. Those who got to know him were able to see his kind and gentle sides. Charming, witty and charismatic, he had a sense of humor you couldn't help but love. Those of you that experienced his practical jokes can attest. Michael was preceded in death by his mother, Aurora Baldwin; he is survived by his father, James Baldwin; siblings, Deborah Dominique, Anthony Baldwin and Delynda Jasinkowski, children, Aaron Simon, Travis Baldwin, Jordan Baldwin and much like a daughter, Shelby Trevino. Family and friends may visit at Gasiorowski-Hanneman Funeral Home and Crematory, 1757 Tremainsville Rd. (corner of Sylvania), 419-474-8761, on Saturday, June 25, 2011 from 1 PM till 6 PM. A life celebration will follow at 2927 Tremaisville Rd. at 6:30 PM, BYOB as part for the life celebration if possible. Interment for family will be held at a later date.

Although, our family has lived down the block from you on Lyceum Place for many years, we did not know you very well. Must say, however, that you provided the block with uniqueness from roaring bike engines to the most unusual of landmarks, the gorillas (especially, when they were painted pink)! It's obvious that you had a real zest for life. Rest in peace and may God bless you.

June 25, 2011

My sympathy and best regards to Michael “Wrecker Baldwin family and friends.
I saw him at Secor Lanes on June 17, 2011 before departure from the Bowling Alley
He used a unique verbal with sign languish to say see you later. I had the pleasure of knowing Michael over the past decade. I hope all will find blessing and lessons in this life.

Keeping in memory of your love one,

Bill Wayne and Bill Wayne II

To Jim, Tony, Debbie, Delynda, Mike's cherished children, and his loving cousins and family... "Big Mike" is how I always knew him, through my father from many years ago (25 years +). Mike was a big guy with a very kind heart, but strong & proud if he needed to be. How thankful I am to have had the chance to catch up with him a few weeks ago, and give him a hug after enjoying his personable humor. Our hearts are terribly saddened by the family & friend's loss who loved him so greatly. He was a good man who was loved by many. May the light in his eyes shine in all of our memories. Thanks for the many wonderful memories "Big Mike", and may you rest peacefully in your mother's arms once again. Our sincerest condolences to all. Love, Tracy & Ron Morrin (Posadny)

He left us quietly,
His thoughts unknown,
But left us a memory,
We are proud to own;
So treasure him Lord,

To Michael's family...

Rhoda knew me since I was a small child and she always treated me exceptionally well and greeted me with a warm smile each and every time we saw each other.

I've know Michael nearly all of my life and although we didn't run into each other often except for at Carmel's and a few other places, it was always as though we just saw each other yesterday.

God bless all of you as you go through this most difficult time. RIP Michael. It's not going to be the same going to Carmel's and not seeing either Rhoda or Michael. Both of whom I knew well and will truly miss.
