Patsy Reese Obituary
Born in Andersonville, Ga., Mrs. Reese had been a resident of Trenton for 64 years. She raised her family and worked as a home Visiting Nurse with Mercer Street Friends Center for 25 years. Patsy, "Mom Reese," or simply "MOM," as she was known by many, was a founding member of Corinth Baptist Church and served as "Mother of the Church" in Ewing.
Predeceased by her husband, Wilson Reese, and her parents, Tom Coogle and Luetishia Harris, Patsy leaves to cherish her memories her children, Richard (Viola) of Buffalo, N.Y. , Robert (Ila) of Stone Mountain, Ga., Sharon of Trenton, Westley (Mary) of Ewing, Eve (Henry) of Snellville, Ga., Melissa of Morrisville, Pa., Kenneth of Decatur, Ga., Jeannette (Stacey) of Trenton, Reginald (Alisa) of Missouri City, Texas, Daniel (Ophelia) of Trenton; 25 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Willie Mae Evans of Georgia and Sue Hill of Florida; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be at 5 p.m. Thursday (Apr. 5) at Corinth Baptist Church, 31 Hawthorne Ave., Ewing.
Interment will be in Ewing Cemetery, Ewing Township. Calling hours will be from 4 to 5 p.m. at the church. Arrangements are by Campbell Funeral Chapel, Trenton.
