Bernard Hurley Obituary

Bernard F. Hurley Sr., 78, of White Oak, died Monday, Feb. 24, 2014. He was born Feb. 15, 1936, in Pittsburgh, and is the son of the late Robert and Mary Bercik Hurley Sr. He was employed at the former Crucible Steel then retired from Mt. Lebanon School District. He served in the Army and was an avid bicyclist. He is the father of the late Bernard F. Hurley Jr. and is survived by daughters, Cindy (Ray) Kosuda, of Middlesex, N.C., Maryann (Nelson) Hurley-Renfrow, of Kenly, N.C., Bernice Hurley, of McKeesport; grandchildren, Jessica, Mooneh, Valerie, Cecelia, Jacob, Mitchell, Cynthia, Elisha and Diane; great-grandchildren, Ryder, Lillian, Olivia and Brianna; siblings, Dennis (Ann) Hurley, of Hatboro, and Colleen (Richard) Fryza, of Jackson, Ga. He is preceded in death by his brother, Robert Hurley Jr. Family and friends will gather from 5 until 7 p.m. Thursday at STRIFFLERS OF WHITE OAK CREMATION and MORTUARY SERVICES, 1100 Lincoln Way, White Oak, PA 15131, 412-678-6177.
