Ann Haskell Obituary

Ann Elizabeth Haskell, 83 of Merrimack passed away peacefully in her home on June 10, 2022 after a brief illness.

Born in London, England, Ann was head of her class in school and went to London College. She came to the United States when she was just 21 years old.

She became an airline stewardess and described those 5 years as some of the happiest times of her life.

She was married for 25 years and had 2 children whom she loved dearly.

Ann was the most incredible person and mother. Everyone who met her liked her instantly. She always thought of others first and always gave more than she received. She had a kind word to say about everyone.

Ann worked hard while raising her children and was a successful real estate agent for over 40 years, 25 years at Re/Max Properties in Nashua. She managed two offices during her long real estate career and was frequently a top seller. She renewed her real estate license in 2022, this year. She was a former member of Merrimack Rotary.

Ann is predeceased by her parents Nellie "Dorothy" King and Richard King as well as her sister June Bradley. Ann will be forever loved and remembered by her brother John King and her children Paul Haskell and his wife Amy Haskell, Karen Girard and her Husband Robert Girard and her stepchildren Ronald Haskell and his wife Janet Haskell and Brenda Collins. She also leaves behind her beloved granddaughter Holly Ann Haskell.

Visitation hours will be held at Rivet Funeral Home, 425 Daniel Webster Highway, Merrimack NH Wednesday, June 15 from 4pm -7pm. A funeral service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home at 7pm.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Ann's honor to the Leukemia Foundation at www.lls.org

I have not had the good fortune to spend time with Ann since childhood, but I still remember, decades later, what a kind, upbeat, and gracious woman Ann was. I loved her accent, too. My heart goes out to you, Karen and Paul, and my thoughts and prayers are with you as you mourn the passing of your beautiful mom. The world has lost one of its brighter lights...

I was saddened to find Ann's obituary today, but I agree with what it said about her. She was one of the kindest, nicest women I've known. I worked with her at RE/MAX after just two years experience elsewhere. She was so helpful to me and though she had about 20 years of real estate experience at that time she was never condescending or critical - just set a fine example of how hard work is what makes for success.
Enjoy your heavenly reward, Ann, and a well earned rest.

Ann was a very sweet and thoughtful person. When we moved to Merrimack back in the late 80s she was instrumental in helping us purchase our home. I remember she sent us a fruit basket after we moved in. Our thoughts and prayers go out to her family and friends in the time of sorrow...
