Tom was a great guy. He volunteered at several places I worked in the 90's and always was excited to do so. Always upbeat always hard working. Sorry I'm late hearing about this. My best to his family.

Dear Tom,
Never met you in real life but felt as if I knew you from years of listening to your appearances on 106.7 FM Washington DC. I laughed hard listening to your banter, performances, and games with those wacky jocks. And as I got older I realized I had learned alot from your character about not only comedy, but too strength and humanity. I will never forget you.

Tom,

You made me laugh a lot back in the 90's. Even called my radio show once. You will be missed.

Tom was such a spit-fire, often mischievous, but always loving person. He was quite the comedian as well. I will miss his regular phone calls and presence at advocacy events. I'm glad I had the chance to know him.

Such a sad day. Greg and I are really going to miss our phone calls from Tommy. He would always make us guess who was on the other end. Sometimes it was Ben Lewis the plumber or Algonquin J Calhoun the lawyer and it was always fun to play along. He would always ask us what each of our dogs was doing and he never forgot their names. His laugh was infectious and we will miss it greatly.

I knew Tonmy from the 1970s till now he was always full of energy and loved to bring laughter and joy to people with his big smile and signature laugh of his.

I used to give Tommy rides during the big snow storms and out to get a sandwich and or watch some bands playing nearby and he'd always love those times very much! He was a good man a good person and I'm sorry to hear of his passing.

Tommy thank you for being my buddy and for all those fun times during the winter time in the snow during the summertime when you'd come visit at my house while my band was rehearsing.

On the CB when we'd talk back and forth.

I'll miss you buddy!

To Tom and his Family,

We did not know Tom well, in fact only found out this morning of his passing. However, my family and I still feel a great sense of loss because of the cheerful greeting he always provided on the way into and out of mass each Saturday/Sunday at St. James. After having our son almost two years ago, he was always quick to give our boy Lucas a high five and eager to give him a hug as we left church each weekend. His service to his parish and the love he conveyed to us was especially appreciated. Tom is in our thoughts and prayers and we are grateful that he is one with the Lord.

Requiescat in Pace, Tommy Joe. We will miss you.

January 28, 2017

Tommy was youngest of one of the great families of McLean. His Mother was the centerpiece. I know it had to be a challenge for her raising the older siblings but raising and caring for Tommy was very demanding and required much more time and special effort. I greatly admire her for all she did Tommy. Knowing Tommy as an adult, you could tell he had a strong family upbringing and influence. Tommy was a very special person. He usually pushed himself on to you and afterward everyone would be glad he did.
Will be missed, grateful to know him and his special family

"T", you are missed dearly. It breaks my heart to know that you are gone. I'll miss your calls, "Hi, T!", and me, "Hi, T!" , your visits, your energy, and perseverance. You lived alone and made your way, teaching many people that life is great. My girls were very sad, too, to hear you had passed and regret not having seen you again after our last hospital visit. May you rest in peace among the angels.

Tom was always a character and never let anything keep him down inspite of the hand he was dealt. Met him a few times at Radio gatherings and we thought it was cool our birthdays were close. (Mine is Dec 6). I'm sure Tom
Is up there trying to figure it to call the radio show from heaven.
