I worked on the duPont farm for 6 summers and became part of the family. Though years have passed, I am so sorry to hear about Da's passing. He was always so kind to me. Even when the flatbed I parked by the upper barn rolled down the hill and damaged the hay baler, he didn't get mad. Well, not that I saw anyway. My sincerest love and thoughts to everyone in the family and friends. Trying to reconnect and find contact info. Please contact me - [email protected] - 415.455.8169

I grew up on the du Pont farm and was very close to the family. Victor's daughter Joanie, son Phillip and I hung out all the time. I worked for a time for his first wife, Joan. He was a great individual and I am sure he will be missed by all who knew him.
My sincere condolences to all of his family

I knew Vic at Va. Tech during 1954-1956 as a fellow member of the German Club and later as a member of the German Club Alumni Foundation from 1988-present. Vic was always a true gentleman, enjoyed people and loved the land and his animals.
To the family- always remember all the good times together with Vic, that's what he would want for "you all".
Take care and he always had the spirit of the HOKIES with him.

Bob Luttrell Class 1955 and all the HOKIES that had the privilege of knowing a true VIRGINIA GENTLEMAN!
