Augusta M. Schaefer

Augusta M. Schaefer, 91, of Allentown, passed away Wednesday, February 19, 2025 at Cedarbrook Nursing Home, Allentown. She was the wife of the late Arthur J. Schaefer. Born in New York City, she was the daughter of the late Santo A. and Jessica (Sweet) Daleo. She was a member of St. Joseph the Worker R. C. Church, Orefield. Before retiring, she worked as an LPN for Hackettstown Hospital, NJ. She will be greatly missed by her family and remembered for enjoying arts and crafts, especially knitting.
Survivors: sons Steven and his wife Cory of Whitehall, Harold and his wife Rosann of Easton, Timothy of Whitehall; daughter Dale of Allentown; 4 grandchildren Steven, Laurel, Carrin, Jessica; 6 great grandchildren, Fayth, Natasha, Christian, Haven, Blaze, Suryia. She was predeceased by her sister Katherine Bertuzzi.
Mass of Christian Burial: 11:00 AM, Wednesday, February 26 at St. Elizabeth R. C. Church, 618 Fullerton Ave, Whitehall Township, PA 18052. No calling hours. Burial to follow at Resurrection Cemetery, Wescosville.
