Mr. Beazley was teacher for 10th grade geometry, and he was one of the best I had. My experience at Allen was not very good, but he was one of the few bright spots. He knew his subject well and he clearly enjoyed being in the classroom. I recently returned to college to finish my bachelor's degree after a very long gap, and as the difficulty of the classes increase, I always keep Mr. Beazley's patience in mind. Rest in peace, you will long be remembered.

Mr. Beazley was my Geometry teacher at Wm. Allen HS when I was in Grade 10. I struggled to see the abstract when working with planes. He was so patient. I could easily get the theorems and postulates. With his help, I managed Bs in that class. It would not be until I finished college and was doing additional training when the lightbulb finally turned on with truly understanding planes and range of motion! I remember in that moment remembering that "this is what Mr. Beazely tried to get me to understand back then!" His family should be proud of how many students benefited from his patience. He met us where we were at. If we did not "get it," he tried so many different ways to help us. Little did he know, we would eventually "get it," just took some of us a bit longer...and he had the patience for that. I am so happy I had him as a teacher!

I remember Mr. Beazley when he lived in the apartments on 19th Street in Allentown. I was only a kid in "69" and I was his newspaper boy. I remember him and his wife for being the most friendly, kindest and generous customers I had on my newspaper route. He always took the time to chat with me. May he rest in peace!

Dave and I had similar paths. We went to Raub, William Allen and Muhlenberg together. We also became educators. Furthermore, what tied us together was our last names alphabetically. So, we often sat aside or near each other in many classes. He was easy to make laugh which endeared him to me. He was also very bright and I always emulated his discipline. At Berg, we sort of drifted apart with different majors but I always remembered him fondly. My condolences to his family.

Dave sat in front of me in homeroom one of the years at high school. I remember talking to him about trains and how much he loved to ride them. He was a kind and gentle person. I am glad I remember him so well.

Dear Dottie and family, I am sorry to learn of Dave's passing. I got to know him when he lived with his parents next to Carol on Washington Street. Take comfort in the fact that he touched the lives of many students at Wm. Allen.
