Obituary of Susan E. Ibrahim
Susan Ellen Ibrahim, age 73, formerly of Philadelphia, PA passed away suddenly, but peacefully, on Thursday, February 6, 2025 at her home in Conshohocken, PA.
She was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on February 14, 1951, the daughter of the late Marvin and Elaine (Beyer) Blatt.
Susan loved to spend time with her daughter and her family. She had deep love for animals and rescued many cats, dogs, and even baby squirrels. She loved all of her animal babies so much, especially her newest rescue Oreo. Susan had a hippie spirit that she embraced her entire life. Some of her favorite ways to spend her time were thrifting, doing various crafts and art projects, gardening, listening to music and going to concerts, and always loved when she found a cool pinball machine. She loved to take beach trips with her daughter and went barefoot every chance she got. She had an incredible sense of humor and the mouth of a sailor. She cared deeply about politics and human rights, and doing what she could to protect the vulnerable.
Susan spent her life caring for others, especially her daughter, who is her best friend. Her heart held a kindness that is rare to find, she did anything she was capable of to help others.
She is survived by her daughter, Sarah Ibrahim; bonus daughter, Linsay (& Angel) Ramos; brother Frederic (& Murella) Blatt; sister, Sharon (& Roger) Potts; brother, Philip (& Lisa) Blatt; and cousin and best friend, Cindy Pfeffer. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and beloved cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation on Saturday, February 15, 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the Moore, Snear & Ruggiero Funeral Home, 300 Fayette Street, Conshohocken, PA 19428. A Memorial Service will begin at 2:30 PM at the Funeral Home. We would like to have a true celebration of Susan's life, as her birthday falls the day before the service. Please feel free to wear your most fun and colorful outfits, and join us after the service at Susan's home to come together to remember her in the way she would want.
